This Chrome extension, developed by Palmer Digital AB, allows users to generate short and relevant replies or new messages using ChatGPT while chatting on Slack. With the ability to customize responses by setting the language, model, and mood, this extension adds convenience and efficiency to Slack conversations.
To use the extension, simply install it in your Chrome browser and open Slack in your browser. Two new buttons will appear near the message input field: one for generating a reply based on the last message and one for generating a new message based on your input.
By clicking the "Generate reply" button, a response based on the last message in the conversation will be inserted into the message input field. You can edit the response before sending it. Similarly, the "Generate new message" button allows you to generate a new message based on the text you input.
For added convenience, keyboard shortcuts are available. Pressing Ctrl + Alt + ArrowDown generates a reply based on the last message, while Ctrl + Alt + ArrowUp generates a new message based on your input.
Please note that an OpenAI API key is required to use this extension, as it relies on the OpenAI API for generating responses.
